Delete your account
You can delete your Najah account and all associated data at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
In the app (fastest)
- Open Najah and sign in.
- Tap the “Me” tab (أنا).
- Open “Settings”, then the “Account” section.
- Tap “Delete account” (حذف الحساب) and confirm with your password (or directly if you use Google/Apple sign-in).
What is deleted
- Account data: name, email/phone, hashed password, photo, Google/Apple link.
- Level, stream, school, wilaya, goals and preferences.
- Lesson progress, attempts and results, XP, streak and badges, flashcards, bookmarks, planner, reminders and grades you entered.
- AI tutor conversations and uploaded exercise photos.
- Your posts, answers, comments and votes; your group memberships and messages.
- Parent links, tutor contact requests, tutor profile (if any), support requests.
- Device push tokens, sessions and verification codes.
What we may keep
- Aggregated, anonymous statistics (e.g. the total number of answers to a question) that cannot identify you.
- Technical and security logs (e.g. IP address) for at most 90 days, then deleted automatically.
- Moderation records (e.g. reports) detached from your identity, for as long as needed to protect users or required by law.
- Encrypted backups are rotated regularly: your data disappears from them within 30 days.

If the app is no longer installed, prove the account is yours with your password or with a code we send to your phone or email.
